Whiteboard is a drawing application available for the iPhone and iPod Touch. We've all had different situations when we needed to draw a picture of something for a client or friend. What better way than to use your phone? This is the idea behind Whiteboard.
It offers 6 different colors, an eraser, and a multitude of brush sizes to choose from. The app is extremely simple, making it easy to quick draw something up, erase and draw again. There is also a wifi sharing option. This allows to devices to connect via wifi and draw using the same medium.
When I tried this out, the app worked perfectly smooth, drawing in real time what the other device was inputting. Getting the devices to connect was a bit troublesome occasionally, but it had no recognizable hiccups when connected. For those of you looking for an app that will allow you to express your ideas visually and quickly, check out Whiteboard.
The wifi sharing maybe be a bit of a gimmick, but it's simple availability as a fast drawing tool cannot be ignored. In the future, we can hope this app will include a larger selection of colors and possible integration with the photos application so drawings can be saved for future use. But for being free, Whiteboard fills a simple need with a simple offering. Check it out.
