WhitePages Mobile is an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows you to easily find a number wherever you are. This app offers many features and has a very clean interface, making it easy to find exactly what you're looking for.
There are four areas to this app: People Search, Business Search, Reverse Phone, and Recent Results. People Search will ask you to enter in the first name, last name, and city, state, or zipcode of the person you're looking for. Business Search asks you for the name or category and city, state, or zipcode of the business you're looking for. Both of these searches will provide you with a list of results that you can select for more information.
You can call the number, add them to your contacts, or even find directions.
Reverse Phone asks you the phone number you're trying to find more information on and will provide you with results if they are available. If it doesn't have any solid results, it will provide you with information like whether it's a landline or a cellphone and where the number originates from. The recent tab will simply show you the most recent results you've looked into for more information.
This app is amazing compared to searching directly online for this information. It offers an easy to use interface and is generally very quick when finding results. The lack of proper results is more likely the users fault then the apps fault as this app does pull directly from the WhitePages after all. If you look up numbers constantly, check this app out.
