Wordsworth is a word puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This game is very customizable, making it easy to get into and get addicted without feeling like you?re not that great at it.
Before you dive into your first game, you?re going to want to hit the settings area of the app. Here you can determine the minimum word size, grid size, total numbers of scrambles per level, timer, and word list. These are all options that will allow you to determine the difficulty of the game and help you start off nice and slow so you don?t get flustered like you do in most word games.
After you select your difficulty settings it?s time to make some words.
You?ll be tracing from letter to letter in an attempt to make a new word. The red pieces are bombs that you?ll need to address before they blow up. The other color pieces are bonuses that will add to your word score. You can tap the guy in the lower left or shake your device if you get stuck and the game will scramble all of the letters while imposing a bit of a penalty.
This game isn?t unique to the iPhone or iPod Touch, but what is unique about it is how much customization you have over the difficulty. Instead of just picking a difficulty level, you can adjust the part of the game that you?re having the most trouble with. Some people just aren?t great at word games, so making it easier for them to get into them is a big plus that this game offers.
