Yahtzee Adventure is the same classic game of Yahtzee, just with a nice shiny new shell. The adventure part of the game is more just a story line for you to play through to give reason as to why you?re actually playing a computer opponent in a dice rolling game.

We?re not going to go over how to play the game as the app offers instructions. What we are going to go over is how the game itself works. You can either play Adventure mode or straight game mode. In Adventure mode, expect to see storyline information in between every match. This can get rather annoying, but you can skip through the dialogue pretty quickly if you?d like.

In the straight gameplay mode, you can actually play two player and share your iPhone with a friend. This is pretty handy as Yahtzee is a decent two player game and how often do people actually carry around dice with them to play it. If you?re lucky, you?ll actually have someone to play this game with and enjoy it a lot more than the average user.

The controls are easy, except it seems like if you shake your iPhone by accident while trying to just tap the screen can actually result in you losing your roll. This can be frustrating when all you wanted to do was save those four six?s but you apparently tapped things a bit too hard. If you?re a Yahtzee fan, grab this app. Otherwise, it?s probably best to pass on this adventure.
