Zen Bound is another one of those games that is really thinking outside the box of how we play a game on the iPhone and iPod Touch. I'll say this right off the bat for those with no patience: Get it, you will not regret it. Unless you are looking to blow something up, this game is made to please.
Zen Bound will scratch every inch of that creative, problem-solving itch you have with its simplicity and common-sense gameplay. The whole objective of the game is to wrap irregularly shaped objects with rope to cover as much of the surface as humanly possible. You have no time limit and are given a certain length of rope to use. The controls are extremely straight-forward: one finger will turn the object, two will rotate, and tilting the device will adjust the rope's direction for easy management. This game is all about taking your time and enjoying the experience, and the music will help with that. The graphics and feel of this game are excellent. It is very clear the art in this game was well thought out and will help draw you into the whole experience.
Overall, if you can't slow down enough to take time to wrap an object with some rope, this game will not be for you. But for those of you looking for a relaxing and somewhat challenging experience that will have you using basic motor skills to achieve a basic goal, Zen Bound is perfect.
